Modus Operandi

Welcome to the new LYS - Laine de Bergère.

I've rented this little shop on rue Main in Gatineau Québec to start up my very own knitting/spinning boutique.

Pinch me!

This is rather late breaking news and I have yet to iron out all the details like furniture, grande openings and nervous breakdowns... You would not believe the way the stars lined up for this to happen. It is almost creepy the way it all came together like a dream come true.

So tell me: which day of the week is best for a Knit Night?

Congratulations! I know how long you have dreamed of this moment... I will of course be there to help any way I can. Not thinking at all of huge discounts on future yarn purchases no no not thinking at all about it..:)

I'm so proud of you, to live your dream. If I lived in your area, I can assure you I would be a regular visitor. Wednesday seems to be a popular knit night in California. FYI in California some knit stores sell lattes & coffees and are doing REALLY well. (Just a thought).

I will definetely have to go to Gatineau to get lost and find your new LYS!(I always end up in the wrong area when I cross that bridge...part of the reason is DH never takes the same road to go and come back)
Take care.

Congratulations! You are realizing a dream that my mother and I have had for years. You are lucky. Anneh has told me about the shop and I live very very close... and with Woolaine closing I was wondering where I was going to be able to get yarn when I have a fix. I have spread the word among friends. I'm in for Knitting nights from pretty much anytime.

Bonne chance à toi!

Marie-Eve
